The races will take place at Festival Pier, aka School Street
Pier, on the Seekonk River, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
Team set-up day - On Friday, September
5, teams will be allowed to bring
equipment, such as lawn chairs, to the race site from 12 noon until 5:00p.m.
The on-site security officers will not allow access after 5:00
pm.
MapQuest directions to Festival Pier
Race day - On Saturday, September
6, shuttle busses will run from the Blackstone
Visitor Center at 175 Main Street. via the Apex Department Store to the top
of Tim Healey Way. Buses will start at 7:00
am and run until the awards ceremony has been
completed.
Team vehicles - No team
vehicles will be permitted on Tim Healey Way on race day.
Parking in the area is extremely limited.
Please note - Tim Healey Way is a cobblestone, steep road,
so carrying heavy loads such as coolers or chairs is not recommended. Although golf carts
are available for transporting people needing additional help, they should not be
relied upon for movement of team goods.
Parking - Teams should park at the
Visitor Center's lot or the adjacent
lot. Please do not use Slater Mill's
parking lot.

Practice Site
From Route 146, take Route 123 exit. Follow 123 east to Valley Falls.
Take a right onto Broad Street, travel approximately 1 mile,
then at the bridge take a right onto Madeira Avenue and a
right into the parking lot
