Saturday, the race is on for dragon boat champion
As usual, this year’s Pawtucket
Arts Festival offers dozens of events and
activities. But for many longtime fans, the
highlight of the festival can be summed up in three
words: dragon boat races. “Year in and year out,
it’s one of the most popular attractions,” says Bob
Billington, executive director of the Blackstone
Valley Tourism Council, which organizes the daylong
event.
